Step-by-step guide

How to get a Profile Analysis

Submit your profile for an expert human review from your Resumere dashboard in a few minutes. This guide walks through every screen — signing in, opening Profile Analysis, filling the short form, paying from your credits, and reading your expert's feedback.

Profile Analysis is an expert human review — not AI. A real career expert reads your resume or profile and writes back on your positioning, skill gaps, structure and career narrative, with a private chat for follow-up questions. You start it in a couple of minutes from inside your dashboard. Here's exactly what to click, screen by screen.

What this guide covers

  • Where Profile Analysis lives in your dashboard
  • What the short review form asks for
  • How you pay — and what counts as a credit
  • What your expert sends back, and where to find it

01Sign in to your dashboard

Go to your Resumere account and sign in. If you don't have an account yet, create one for free — you only pay when you submit a review. Once signed in you'll land on your dashboard.

03Fill in the short review form

Tell the expert what to look at. Pick one of your saved resumes, or paste a portfolio / LinkedIn URL instead. You can add an optional note describing the roles you're targeting so the feedback is sharper.

What your expert reviews

  • Profile positioning — how well your summary and title communicate your value
  • Skill gaps — what's missing for your target role and seniority
  • Resume structure and impact — clarity, ATS score and bullet quality
  • Career narrative — how your experiences connect into one story

04Submit for expert review

Scroll down and click Submit for Expert Review. The button shows the exact credit cost. It's charged once from your Resumere credits wallet, and your request is created immediately.

05Top up credits if prompted

If your wallet doesn't cover the review, a Top Up Credits window opens showing how much you need. Pay by card or UPI (Razorpay in India, card elsewhere). As soon as the top-up succeeds your request is submitted automatically — you don't have to click Submit again.

06Read your expert's feedback

You land on your request page. It shows the status, the profile you submitted, and a private chat with your expert. Your expert reviews your profile and replies in the chat — typically within about a day — with written feedback and what to fix first.

Frequently asked questions

Is Profile Analysis done by a human or AI?
A human. A real career expert personally reviews your profile and writes back in a private chat — this is not an AI-generated report.
Do I need a resume saved to use it?
No. You can select a saved resume or just paste a portfolio / LinkedIn URL. If you have neither, you can create a resume first from the same page.
How do I pay?
It's paid once from your Resumere credits wallet (1 credit = ₹1). The exact cost is shown on the Submit button. If your balance is short, a Top Up Credits window lets you add credits by card or UPI, and the request is then submitted automatically.
How long does the review take?
Your expert is notified as soon as you submit and typically replies within about a day. You'll get a notification when the feedback is ready.
Where do I find my feedback later?
Open My Requests in your dashboard. Your Profile Analysis request is listed there — open it to read the feedback and continue the chat with your expert.
