Step-by-step guide

How to get a Skills Analysis

Get an expert skill-gap analysis for your target roles, straight from your Resumere dashboard. This guide walks through every screen — signing in, opening Skills Analysis, submitting your profile, paying from your credits, and reading your expert's plan.

Skills Analysis is a human skill-gap review. A real career expert maps your current skills against the roles you're targeting, then tells you exactly what to learn next and in what order — with a private chat for questions. You start it in a couple of minutes from inside your dashboard. Here's what to click, screen by screen.

What this guide covers

  • Where Skills Analysis lives in your dashboard
  • What to submit so the gap map is accurate
  • How you pay — and what counts as a credit
  • What your expert sends back, and where to find it

01Sign in to your dashboard

Go to your Resumere account and sign in. If you don't have an account yet, create one for free — you only pay when you submit. Once signed in you'll land on your dashboard.

04Submit for expert review

Scroll down and click Submit for Expert Review. The button shows the exact credit cost. It's charged once from your Resumere credits wallet, and your request is created immediately.

05Top up credits if prompted

If your wallet doesn't cover the review, a Top Up Credits window opens showing how much you need. Pay by card or UPI. As soon as the top-up succeeds your request is submitted automatically — you don't have to click Submit again.

06Read your expert's plan

You land on your request page. It shows the status, what you submitted, and a private chat with your expert. Your expert maps your gaps and replies in the chat — typically within about a day — with the skills to build and the order to build them in.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Skills Analysis done by a human?
Yes. A real career expert maps your skills against your target roles and replies in a private chat — it is not an AI-generated report.
What do I need to submit?
A saved resume or a portfolio / LinkedIn URL, plus a short note naming the roles and seniority you're targeting. The more specific the target, the sharper the gap map.
How do I pay?
It's paid once from your Resumere credits wallet (1 credit = ₹1). The exact cost is shown on the Submit button. If your balance is short, a Top Up Credits window lets you add credits by card or UPI, and the request is then submitted automatically.
How long does it take?
Your expert is notified as soon as you submit and typically replies within about a day. You'll get a notification when the plan is ready.
Where do I find it later?
Open My Requests in your dashboard. Your Skills Analysis is listed there — open it to read the plan and continue the chat.
